My first incoming (of today) is the G-Shock GW-9010. I'm not sure, but I don't think that it's automatic movement. I like it though, so I'm posting it anyway.I wanted a G-Shock mainly to use to time my mountain bike laps, but I think that I just wanted one and came up with an excuse to buy it. I found this one used on ebay at a good price, so I snapped it up.I had a few reasons for choosing this particular model, since there isn't anything particularly special about the style.1. It's the "Mudman" series, so it's perfect for mountain biking. The buttons are all sealed up to keep mud out.2. It's the "Rally" version. I raced in the Rally America series a few years ago, and I chose this watch for if/when I'm able to race again. It has a number of features for keeping track of rally stage and transit times.3. I wanted one that's solar-atomic. Granted it's not needed, but I like the idea of a watch that is self-sustained, and never needs to be adjusted or opened up.It has a few scratches on
Recently bot watch w/crown located at 2:30. Anybody ever see that? No button, it's an automatic.
I am starting this thread because I couldn't find a similar one. If this is a duplicate or in the wrong place, feel free to kill it or move it where it belongs.First let me say that I love the new software and new look to the forum. I have a couple of suggestions or comments.1. Access to the settings that allow us to change number of threads per page, number of messages per page and similar. I believe this software has the ability for us to make those changes, only effecting our personal user account. (maybe I just have not found that here yet)2. As time permits, the ablility to change between available templates for the forum. (a forum I belong to that uses vbulletin has 6 different "looks" that are set in the user cp)3. In the Quick Links area, can we add one to show threads that we have posted in?4. Oh and where is the casino? (only kidding about that one)Again, I love all the work that has been done so far.Dave(edit to add: )Oh and I forgot...maybe a spell checker for those wh
