Hublot 341.VV.7389.LR.1205.POP15 wrist watches news:
I enjoyed allmatches recent post about his holiday in Tenerife. Was there myself last month and before traveling I went online to see if there was an AD near to where I was planning to stay. The Canary islands have a low rate of purchase tax and you can get a good deal if you live in a high tax country. Could only get "detailed" local info however about Norway "site tracks IP address" Now I could have gone online when I got to my destination but that takes a bit of the fun out of it. Well in the end I found a Longines AD online from home, no problem and bought a master moonphase from them. ( pics posted on the general forum) Not saying a Rolex purchase would have been a cert but a definite maybe. While I'm at it does anyone know if there any way to contact Rolex direct from their site?It may well be me who is doing something wrong here not a techie but I find my way easily around other watch sites; Longines, AP, Omega.Ok OK no more whining:D:D still love the brand
Actually, this was the first Benrus wristalarm I won, but I had to send it off to the watch guy because the alarm stem and crown fell out.Just came back today. It has the DS 1D movement, but I'm not sure of the date of manufacture. I'm guessing late 50's, early 60's due to the style of the dial and case. What would you guess?Anyway, with the stem fixed, the movement timed and serviced, and crystal and case polished, it looks to be in great shape. I put a silver Speidel on it to give it a retro look. The alarm on this model seems much louder than the other two I have. I'm thinking it has something to do with the metal ring which tightens the case back down. It seems to amplify it. The case, from 9 to 9 measures 32 mm.

Hello there I have inherited a few omegas from my father. Somehow I was always a rolex guy well until now I have never really paid attention to omega models other than the constellation series. Frankly I have no idea what I just bought and it was a total impulse decision. Saw this day date speedy first time while just browsing the boutique. Before I could realise I was out of the boutique with it in less than 30 mins! I hope more knowledgeable members would chime in more details of this watch. Its by far the most busiest mechanical watch in my collection and I got really bowled over by the sheer complications in it. I tried searching the net for this reference speedy but with no luck, even in here I couldnt find more info regarding it, seems like an underated omega. I usually love to research my watches well before I buy them. I plan to wear this one only once I understand it well to truly appreciate it. Till then enjoy the photos.
