Chopard 288507-9008 wrist watches news:
For Baselworld 2015, Eterna will debut a brand new version of its in-house made Calibre 39 movement known as the Calibre 3927A. This automatic chronograph GMT holds a lot of merit and will first exist inside of the new Eterna Royal KonTiki Chronograph GMT watch. Eterna made the decision to house the new movement in a relatively wildly colored watch, and hopefully, there will be more styles available when the watch launches soon. Until then, let's check out the Eterna Royal KonTiki Chronograph GMT that looks pretty cool on paper.Eterna debuted their new in-house Calibre 39 movement here back in 2013. The movement was to serve as a base for a range of other movements. Eterna claims that the Calibre 39 can be used as the basis for "no fewer than 88 different movements." Given the watch industry's regular pandering to Chinese love of the number "8," this figure seems a bit dubious/arbitrary. I am pretty sure it is just 87 different movementsIn any event, the Calibre 39 is a great engine an
I've lusted after these for two years now, but they always end up being bidded up way beyond what I'm willing to spend, even on horrible looking ones.Christmas eve, I noticed one I was watching was still dirt cheap and I picked it up for a little over a hundred. The seller's pictures were a bit blurry, so I took a leap of faith after confirming that the day and date features worked.I think I was rewarded in spades Either this watch has been sitting in a draw for 40 years or someone restored it to factory specifications.Either way, while it isn't mint, it is near mint, or minty. The crystal is near flawless, the gold filled case has no wear and only a few scratches here and there. The dial looks new, the hands are clean and correct, and even the crown is in great shape and correct. Even the caseback looks great. The movement winds freely, and the day and date functions work perfectly. So far, it has kept perfect time. The movement is a Benrus, Swiss made 17 jewel, model CE 13 manual
Hello,I just bougth a beautiful Portuguese Chrono, white dial and blue hands. I was shopping for a sportier watch but I was completely taken away when I was showed this! After few days, however I started noticing that, while the watch was keeping perfect time, the second hand would "stumble" at around 37 sec and then catch up.Can anyone give me an idea on what may cause that? Thanks

The last couple of pre-owned watches I have bought have come with boxes with scrapes and nicks all over them. What are people doing to these things? Especially with an outer protective box I don't get how the inner boxes can get marks all over them. I don't know about you guys but any watch I have bought have mint condition boxes because all they do is sit in a closet.
