Explorer vs sub nondate
I'm looking to be a proud owner of a Rolex, I've got my eyes set on the Explorer 39mm and the Sub nondate. What are the pros and cons of the models mentioned? Which would be more versatile in terms of how good they look with suits and with casual wear? The AD salesperson told me the sub would hold more valueHere comes the noob questionIs that true or was he trying to get rid of it cause it was a bit more pricey and he had so many left as opposed to the explorer? I just didn't understand it cause every store I go there there is at least one sub and hardly ever do i see any explorers. So with the concept of supply and demand, how could the sub would hold more value when there are so many out there being sold new and preowned as opposed to the explorer. I'm not trying to seem vain and buy a watch solely due to popularity, they both look great to me which is why I'm having the hardest time deciding, but i just need to know if theres something between the two in terms of movement quality,

Do you like the PVD diver, seems new edition of 2015, with metal bracelet and rubber strap?Since I can forget about getting one day the ceramic one, 2 on Chrono 24, in the USA and in Japan, while there are quite a few FC divers, this one is nice also, I like the blue on the dial in fact and also like PVD watches, well they say PVD but I guess it's DLC, if it's PVD no way as it scratches easily, it's not too expensive also, but I guess it needs to be seen in real, here's a few not very good pics, what do you think? After two and a half months traveling in Shanghai, Singapore, Bangkok, with ten or so visits to Rolex shops, I'd only seen a few sports/professional models available. On the way to the gate at BKK the King Power Rolex Boutique came in to view. One more walk through a Rolex shop I thought. It looked like a fairly large selection in the shop, but pretty much the usual. On the way out the sales person looked at me and said they just got in a couple professional models. One was a Sea Dweller. At 363,100 baht it seemed a lower price than I would have expected. The wheels started spinning and pretty much had to go for it. I asked if there would be any tax and there was none. Whipped out the CSR visa and the rest is history. Airport shops might be a fairly good place to check as he said they don't keep any lists.
