Corum Bubble Watch Is Back For 2015
It is really about time Corum returned the popular Bubble watch - a timepiece collection that originally came out in the year 2000 and served a major modern role in the brand's history. Eventually, the Corum Bubble watch collection was discontinued, probably because Corum started to go a bit nuts with some silly limited edition models - that, looking back today, are pretty darn cool. You may recall back in 2008, when watches-dealer featured a collection of limited edition Corum Bubble watches that were extremely fitting for Halloween. For Baselworld 2015, the Corum Bubble is back, and I finally have reason to pay attention to the brand again.I recall a few years ago meeting with Corum at Baselworld and inquiring about the Bubble and whether we might see one again. Someone sneered at me remarking that "we don't think that is right for the brand anymore. We've moved past that." First time submariner buyer
Looking at a stainless 2007/2008 bought new in 2009, 16610 m with box and papers. It had its annual tuneup in 2014 at a Rolex dealer. A few normal scuffs on band but watch itself is perfect. He is asking 6500, was thinking offering 6k. Is this a fair price in today¡¯s market? What should I consider or look at before purchasing?

I mention this to offer some context for the question I'm wrestling with about my next purchase.Current Collection: Submariner 114060 (2016) that is my daily/travel/go-everywhere watch. I have a Deep Blue dive watch from my significant other that I wear casually on a NATO and an Orient Polaris GMT (from my deceased mom) on a blue gator strap. The Orient and Deep Blue are obviously sentimental so I'm not looking to duplicate either of those.Personal Style: I work either from home or at a client site in software, so dressing for work is very casual. I haven't worn a suit in a few years but wear sportcoats with slacks regularly for more dressy occasions. I also live in Southern California, so between my line of work and location it's really casual. I tend to wear what I'd call refined-casual; have been taking style inspiration recently from easy Italian looks-- lots
