Invicta 10931 wrist watches news:
Speedy 44mm Co-Axial.
I picked up my first Rolex watch. It is a two tone submariner that started as a stainless watch. The bezel was replaced with a gold bezel and the bracelet was replaced with a two tone Rolex bracelet. As far as I can tell, these are authentic Rolex parts. I was told the watch was serviced late 2011. I will post photos as soon as I can. I am mostly interested in whether or not this will be considered Franken as it was altered from it's original state. I will service this watch before diving with it. It seems to be running well and keeping great time. Any thoughts? Thanks,Jeff
So, I pretty much have my heart set on an IWC Spitfire Auto Chrono. My local AD (only one in town) was able to transfer one from another store for me to look at before buying. It arrived on schedule today, but I was informed that the bezel is scratched. The sales lady I'm working with said it's probably beyond being able to be polished out. If it was minorly scratched, I'd have no problem getting it polished out by my regular jeweler. My Omega had a bit of a scuba+rock accident where the bezel got REALLY badly damaged and he was able to polish it back to "like new" for me. She said she thinks a new bezel is required and it likely can't be polished, but given how badly my Omega was jacked, I'm not willing to believe that.So not being a total expert on watch parts, but what would that cost from IWC NY? They've already offered me (without even talking a deal) 20% off MSRP on the watch, essentially their entire store is 20% off. I was planning on walking in there and trying to get to
Hi everyone!Just want ask what is everyone's opinion/experience with Omega Service Centres? I bought a pre-owned ladies MOP Aqua Terra which I have just gifted to my sister. The watch was originally bought in the US in 2005 (I live in the UK) and is now going back to the US to my sister in San Francisco. It had a full service 18 months ago by by qualified watchmaker here in the UK. I just wonder should my sister want to have it fully serviced in the future, is it worth her sending it to Omega USA? I have read that Omega's customer service on the whole is not always consistent and I wonder what are others' experience is like. Thanks!Wen
Don¡¯t give much thought to heavy construction or diving down 70 feet or running bulls in Spain, but was this too risky?
