Seiko SKX779KS3 wrist watches news:
German luxury watch brand A. Lange & S?hne took the next step in the expansion of its manufacture in Glash¨¹tte, in the state of Saxony, this week, with the laying of a cornerstone, which also contained an engraved time capsule, by Lange CEO Wilhelm Schmid and company founder Walter Lange. The structural framework of the new five-storey building, the initiation of which took place back in September of 2012, now has a completed basement level and base plate, and the Dresden-based contractor handling the project, Wolff & M¨¹ller, has begun erecting the first walls for the entrance area on the ground level. This is the area in which Wilhelm Schmid and Walter Lange set the cornerstone in a ceremony on September 3. The artifacts in the time capsule include a newspaper, the current A. Hi, just wondering which are the most collectible Breitlings?
Hello,I'm new to the forum and have enjoyed reading many of the posts. I have a friend who over to sell me his PAM 104. I believe its a 2007 model. As you can see in the picture the crown guard is missing and I would like to have it replaced with an original one. He is willing to sell the PAM 104 with the rubber band and deployment buckle for $2,500. I was thinking that a new replacement crown guard and service would run me another $1000-$1500. IS that an accurate guess. Does anybody know what an OEM crown guard costs? All I have been able to find are replicas on eBay. Thanks in advance for your help.
Tried to google, but no answer out there...?TT and SS should have the same measurement, right?Anyone?-via iPhone
What is the logic behind the 24-hour hand being adjoined to the minute hand rather than the hour hand? It's only been a few months with my Polar (216570) but I find it unintuitive to adjust the minutes or the 24 hour hand in parallel with the other hand. If I want to adjust the 24-hour hand I don¡¯t want my minute hand stopping. And if I don¡¯t wear my watch for a few days - sometimes I simply want to quickly set the hour hand and the minute hand but I have to remind myself that they are set independently. Is it just me or is there a good logical reason for this?
