- great watch!there is only one complaint: the stainless clasp that holds the rubber straps together scratches easily. should be able to buff it out but not planning on doing that everyday!

Tissot T059.507.11.031.00 wrist watches news:
Dutch watch maker Pellikaan Timing has just released a really sexy limited edition set of watches made for the Dutch Football team FC-Utrecht. I couldn't care less about soccer, but the design is pretty nifty. Loving that custom NATO strap done exclusively for Pellikaan with the red and white stripes down the middle. My guess is that the logo placed in the subsidiary seconds dial is that of the FT Utrecht football team. I still don't know why teams are called clubs in Europe? That always confuses me. Or is that only with soccer? The watches are in steel and 45mm wide. Inside is a manually wound Swiss ETA movement. The standard Pellikaan dial is a great mixture of modern and classic. Hand-built in The Netherlands, the limited edition of 25 pieces Pellikaan Timing FC Utrecht watch costs 995 Euros. I'm guessing this auction was for a Reagan? With an enamel dial..It sold for $265 - about three times what Reagans with applied gold numerals achieve. Fair enough you say - a common enough occurrence with original enamel dials.BUT - the dial looks a bit too good to be true (ie I'm guessing it's a refinished dial??) and it doesn't sit square within the bezel. So - is it a refinished dial and why is it askew - and, if this is true, why did someone pay $265?stales
I would like to know what it says on this dial. Its a winder I just picked up cheap. Sorry about the crap pic.ThanksJustin2011-08-05_11-33-50_326-4.jpg
Hi all,I've been reading threads on WTF for sometime now and love the interest and enthusiasm everyone shares here as watch lovers. I haven't had a good reason to post a thread until now !! I'm always looking at watches and recently came across a deal that was just too good to resist and pulled the trigger on my first major watch purchase. I ordered the Williams F1 Team Chronograph and am anxiously waiting on the delivery (a whole month away!!). Here's a picture I grabbed online of the watch (I can't stop looking at it) and I swear I can almost smell the vanilla on the rubber strap that everyone mentions Modified Oris Caliber 673 (Base Valjoux 7750), 25 jewels.Case diameter: 45 mm (excluding crown, pushers and lugs)Height:13 mmWater-resistant up to 5 atm / 50 m
Guys what¡¯s the king of the hill brand of rubber strap for the Daytona? Thank you in advance.
