I'm wondering why many vintage watches costs a lot of money. Is it just because collectors want it or is it because those kind of watches were of limited supply? I particularly liked the swiss ladies watches and was looking on ebay to get the price range for brands like Oris or Omega. I found this listing which is an ELOGA Swiss Watch thats valued at $2mil. According to the listing its been in a private collection for more than 40 years and is up for sale now. I'm guessing that its at that price because its a rare item or its because its made from solid gold and has diamonds on it? I'm wondering about the price difference between the different models of swiss watch brand.I've added the link to the item. Please have a look and I would appreciate your feedback.
