Perrelet Turbine Diver Watch
2012 sees another variation on the popular Perrelet Turbine watch called the Turbine Diver - and it is just that. With a large case, internal rotating dive bezel, and 300 meters of water resistance, you can now combine your love of the spinning dial timepiece with your passion for sport watches. Well, at least I know I can.I've written about the Perrelet Turbine watch over the years and did a hands-on review of the Perrelet Turbine XL watch here. The high-end novelty watch continues to hold my attention. If you don't recall how it works, the Turbine is a play on the original Perrelet double rotor concept that has a second rotor on the dial which is connected to the rear rotor in the automatic movement. The turbine on the dial spins with the movement of your wrist. With enough inertia, it will spin pretty fast. Well, I've just about done it!! My quest to go down to just two watches has finally come to a conclusion! Tired of buying and flipping, it does feel rather liberating and I think I can finally spend a bit less time messing around with watch research and a bit more time on the things in life that actually matter! Now my two wearers are in place I think from now on I'll stick to buying the odd lower priced piece, just to have something to play with and photograph. So here they are. AP Diver on leather??
I bought my first AP Diver a couple weeks ago and I love it! I however took it in as it was running a little fast (didnt want to wait for it to settle in) and thought I'd get the 3rd year warranty at the same time. This wasn't a big deal as I live in Tampa and the Clearwater center is about 20 min drive.I want to buy the bracelet for it but am being told it has up to a 6 month backorder!! I asked out of curiosity if there is a leather with clasp for the diver and apparently there is, brown and black and both are in stock.DOES ANYONE HAVE THE LEATHER ON THE DIVER AND WHAT DO YOU THINK?Thanks in advance and pics would be greatly appreciated.Daniel

Is Breitling a serious watch company?
Picked one up recently at the airport on a spur of the moment buy. Although they have their range from low to high, I wonder if they're really up there in terms of workmanship, legacy, etc. With that said, I'm a bit regretful about my purchase.
