Breitling Navitimer Cosmonaute AB015212/BA99/151A 43mm Automatic Mens Watch

As a virtual pariah in the forum, I'm looking for some advice
I like Vintage Ladies Hamilton's, and from lurking for a couple of weeks I have picked up on the general lack of interest in the forum...understandably as the contributors seem to 95% maleHowever, whilst there are days when I am not a lady, I am female. Are there any links to sites, or suggested reference materials for the ladies watches that you can put me on to? I bought a Hamilton Trudy a couple of months back, and got badly hooked and now have 5 Hamilton's. I really like the mens watches too, and am keen on collecting, as most of the pre-electrics are a perfectly OK size to wear.Oh, and I live in New Zealand, so about as far from the source as it is possible to get, but thanks to ebay/paypal/USPS and Fedex, it really doesn't matter too much.There are a surprising number of Hamilton's in NZ, due to the number of US servicemen based here during the war, and visiting post-war. Beware The Swamp...
Somebody on the Swamp is selling what purports to be a Lord Elgin 'White Knight', which the seller claims is even rarer than the 'Golden Knight' (the real name of which is 'El Dorado'). It may not be what it seems. The 'golf ball' dial (textured like the Black Knight and the El Dorado) is marked with 'Lord Elgin' and a star. The serial number on the movement dates it to 1952, by which time Elgin watches carried the 'dp' logo, denoting the Durapower mainspring. I did a quick check of the Knights that have been on Ebay recently, and they all carry that 'dp'.The other thing wrong is that the markings in the sub seconds dial are WITHIN the sunken sub seconds dial, whereas on the Black Knight and El Dorado, they're OUTSIDE it.I suspect this watch might simply be a bad redial of a Black Knight or El Dorado, done in white with the wrong markings.

How's it going everyone I am thinking about trading my ceramic sub no date and my explorer ii 42mm polar white for a royal oak gray dial. I went to the boutique in NYC and tried them on. I fell in love with the gray dial. I am just a little apprehensive being that I will be wearing this watch as a daily. Can someone give me some insight on the on the movement is it rigid enough for everyday use? Will it be able to take a little bit of a beating? Thank you in advance
