I find it sometimes a bit tricky to screw the crowne on my new GMT II 16710 back into position after having set the watch. I apply force on the crowne and rotate it clockwise (half to 1 full turn) but it seems that sometimes it cannot catch the hmmmm reciever and jumps back out. It works but I find it a bit annoying. Anyone else knows about this problem? If it is not normal how much would it cost to fix? The watch is still on factory guarantee but since it was bought is the US I am not sure if I can have it fixed for free in Europe. Any thoughts and comments are welcome. Thanks, Martin
hi all,i'm wondering can cheap winders damage a watch, i already have two winders one is dulwish cost me around 500$ witch i'm using for my rolex and its great yet (having it for 3 years). second one is a diplomat double winder cost around 50$ and also its running great but a little bit noisy i'm using for my monsters.i just bought a pam 320 and planing from now on to purchase only automatic watches and most winders(high end) that hold +4 watches are very expensive and in this money i can add some watches, so i found these two winders the price is very reasonable but i'm afraid there will be .00000000001% it will damage any watch.feed back is appreciateddiplomat700$volta1400$thanks
Hamilton has been known for staying on the cutting edge of design, offering some of the most unique styles out there (even in the present day Code Breaker ). Looking at the past designs from the 20's, 30's, 40's (well, not so much the 40's), 50's and 60's, what is your favorite style case?
Hi all,After much researching and advice gathering from the likes of Fr. John, I have got myself a black Medici strap to on my Speedy. I also have the 15mm pins and a tool to fit them.I managed to get the metal bracelet off but am now confounded with what of the many set-ups are best on the Medici to fit it snugly to my Speedy. there seems to be 8 - if you slide our the hard bit and switch it round.I've checked out other threads here but haven't found one for Speedy's only Rolex's. Can anybody please give me the best set up?Thanks and sorry if there's already posts on here that I've missed.James
