IWC IW371712 wrist watches news:
I bought two nice watches for $20.00 (a steal) and I am pretty sure at least one of them needs repair. IN all my years of colecting watches I have only once had a watch repaired and that was just recently when I sent my Bulova in to Bulova. But this one I am thinking I want to send to a regular watch repair place and see how it goes. Here is the deal. I was browsing at a going out of business sale at a small jewlery shop looking for a deal. Nothing caught my fancy and the guy said he had some Nice watches that were either broken or just needed batteries and he was practically giving them away. I took the bait and bought these 2 Brand new Display model Seikos for 20 bucks. I have got many watches like this before. The seller says "it may or may not work...probably just needs a battery" I have always got lucky and a $3.00 Battery was all that was needed and I got a nice watch for next to nothing. This time I was not so lucky. The Black face one is keeping time But the second h
Hey guys, I'm new here, have been a watch fan for a long time. Was my recent decision stupid? I sold my Omega Seamaster (made just a $2 profitstill better than losing money, I suppose!) and ended up buying two watches: a simple Once Again Swatch for 50 bucks as a "beater" and an Invicta 8926 for $166 (with tax included; I now realize I could have paid a bit less online). Was it stupid to sell the Omega? It was a fine watch, but I found the looks somewhat conservative, and friends were mistaking it for a cheap Citizen or Seiko even though it was a nice chunk of changeplus I was always afraid of scratching or dropping it.The Invicta, on the other hand, was only $166 and looks to most people including my own eye to be a much higher end and more sophisticated watch. Sure, the bracelet feels a bit cheap, but it looks good. The movement is a little loud in my opinion, others online have echoed this sentiment I believe, but it keeps fantastic time thus far. And, of course, I wish it had a sap
Hi all,I wanted to solicit your thoughts on the AP 15305st. I've tried on the RG version a few times but I haven't seen the steel version yet. My main concern is if I would get bored of the skeletonized face (more of a novelty piece?). Thanks and pics are always welcomed.
Extra credit for pictures!
The 605What a stunner this is. The dial is.. Well have a look. Shame the 514 had to make way but can't have it all
