Ulysse Nardin 326-00 wrist watches news:
From the technical point of view, the watch a. Lange & Sohne Lange 31 was a nightmare to the engineer. Non-not because the concept is difficult, but because the accuracy. You see that the Lange 31 has a 31 days power reserve (744 hours), divided between two mainspring barrels. The challenge was to ensure that the power to move in springs slowly unwind for the rest of the movement was consistent, if not the shows would go that is too fast or too slow most of the time.
I have recently purchased an Explorer114270 that has had little ,if almost no use. its a "D" series still with the green caseback sticker in place . But when I try to set the time by the atomic clock and get the minute hand just right there seems to be a little "slack" which sometimes makes it hard to be exact. Is that right? never remember that slack on my 14060M . its just a little annoying. Am I worrying over nothing or should I have it checked out?Knoffie
A friend from work gave me his brother's Breitling to get repaired, and wants me to possibly make him an offer to buy it. Other than a couple of vintage pieces, I'm not up on modern Breitlings. I's a Colt Chronocean, 100 meters/300 feet. It's on a bracelet, has a white dial with three blue sub dials. On the back is engraved A530** (serial number???), and under that 3807. I though all Colts were quartz but it doesn't say that anywhere, nor does it say automatic. There's no case damage but it doesn't run. Assuming in needs a battery or minor repair, what would be a fair selling price for it??? Sorry no pics!!!! It looks to be 90% externally with just minor desk diving scratches on the clasp.
Now that the NFL's umber-rich crybabies, I mean owners & players, have finished their whining, temper tantrums & finger pointing, the 2011 NFL season is almost here. So it only reasoned I needed to get a new 2011 Falcon's shot with my Lum-Tec 41 "gameday" watch. Like most watch lovers I've got a watch for many occasions, one for gameday at the Georgia Dome is of course a requirement for me. So here it is!How many others have team-themed watch styles (Any sport)? Let's see them!
Does anyone own both watches or have seen both at the same time? I saw a 5712 in person a while back and thought that the dial was more grey blue (rather than pure blue) than I thought it would be, even under lighting. However, yesterday someone showed me their 5711 in person and the blue looked absolutely amazing, even better than all the pictures I've seen on here. Are the blues on these two just different? Or maybe just my eyes playing tricks
