If you want a nice looking watch to wear for everyday, one that is reasonably priced and reliable. The leather strap is a bit long, but great for anyone with a larger wrist. Go for it, you won't be sorry!

Anyone know this Elgin model?
I've had this Elgin for a few years now, I've never seen another like it anywhere, I've always wanted to get information on it. The case is nickel plate with no wearthrough yet, the crystal does not look original as it does not have a perfect fit and the crown is a completely different color. The watch keeps very good time, well enough to be a reliable daily timekeeper if necessary. I believe that it was produced sometime in the Twenties. Thank you in advance for any information. Something unusual
I am new to the luxury watch market and I am looking at buying my first.I have however set myself a task of getting something unusual in brand or design.Two brands I have identifed are:Armand Nicolet model numbers TM7, Lo8 and LS8.Frederique Constant model Heartbeat Tourbillion and Runabout.However in the UK Armand Nicolet do not have a distributor and Frederique Constant have one retailer but for their everyday watches and not for the models I have highlighted. How do I go about reserching prices, availabilty and eventually purchasing one of these watches. Also any advice on these watch brands would be much appreciated. Thanks for your help.
