- I don't recommend this watch. The band discolored after the first dive. After five dives (90 days after purchase) water got into the face and ruined the watch and the dive was only at 20 feet. Hands did not illuminate very brightly.

Maurice Lacroix LC1087-SD501-360 wrist watches news:
'HOROLOGY'Origin: 1810 -20. Greek: horo (form of hora or hour)The necessity of having some mechanism for marking the passing of 'hours' has brought into existence an infinite variety of time-keepers, and 'this' variety has made the collecting of clocks and watches one of 'the most' interesting fields for the collector.Since 'men' (and I hope woman) must collect, how fortunate are they (we) when the objects of their search show the change and development of an artistic handicraft through a course of centuries. The first time keepers were water clocks or 'clepsyndrae' were used from the earliest times by ancient Egyptians. Where are they now?But the first portable time keepers were made in Nuremburg and were due to the skill of one man Peter Henlein who lived between 1480 and 1542. His invention from @1500, employed a long steel ribbon tightly coiled around a central spindle to maintain themotion of the wheels. These portable time keepers did did not come into general use for a long t
Hey everyone! Some of you *may* remember my last thread where I publicised the fact that I bought a pocket watch. I was not satisfied with it and I will be selling it off very soon. In other news, I bought another pocket watch to replace it. And this one is MUCH better (in my opinion, anyway). It's not an antique, but it is mechanical and it's beautiful! It is...- Brushed gold cased. - Mechanical movement. - Stem/crown wound. - in-company with a nice, gold chain. - $15 *brand-new* - BEAUTIFUL! - manufactured with a nice, skeleton dial so that I may witness the watch's own little perpetual performance. - An excellent timekeeper! (Most important!) - Hunter-cased, with the crown at 12 and the hinge at 6 (again, very important!).
In the past I owned a 15300 and the fit was always wrong, one link made it either a bit tight or to loose.I then upgraded (not sure it was an upgrade to be honest) to a 15400 and the same happened, I even bought a 1.5 link and it didn't help all that much.So now I am considering the upgrade (pretty sure it is an upgrade) to the 15202, but I am concerned that the same will happen. I really like the RO, especially the bracelet, but I wonder if I should just go elsewhere or get the 15202.Has anybody had both 15202 and 15400 or 15300 and had this problem?
thinking about getting a bracelet for my ROO. The guy selling showed me the serial number as BR.1000.003.ST-M.R I wanted to know if this is the actual serial number for the new style AP bracelet. Any help is appreciated!
Hey Gang, I'm looking to buy a used Patek (from a Forum member) which is dated 2012 and received service work from Watch Check in the Philippines. I went to the Patek Website and couldnt find them as an authorized Service Center. I did see however they were an Authorized Service Center for IWC, Breitling and Panerai. The Work Order Included a Restore of the following:- Scratched Crystal- Scratched / Dented Case- Scratched Clasp- Replacement of StrapTo the Patek experts on the forum, would you be comfortable purchasing a watch that had what appears to be just a cosmetic restore of the watch from this service center? Also, should I care that the watch was polished? Thanks in Advance!
