Invicta 14852 wrist watches news:
Picked this up as part of the deal when I bought my most recent watch. Thought I'd put a word of praise for the nice quality. They should always show pics of the back. The back really seems to illustrate the build quality. No more hassles for me when I switch between my two most worn watches.I didn't get the small size pillow and power cord for it, so I'll have to track down a source for those. But overall, I think this should account for $200 to $250 of the deal price thus making me feel even better about my new watch!
Hey everyone, earlier today I was skipping through channels on the TV and ran into a show called 106 and park on BET. Well they had rap videos playing and it was kind of cool to watch. All the rappers had these bling bling watches. I tried so hard but could not tell what kind they are. Does anyone know what rappers are wearing these days? Seems like they are all platinum watches.
Well my Speedy has finally arrived and I love it. I bought it from Watchmaxx and I was actually able to get the international warranty through Omega for an additional 65$, so Im pretty happy with the deal. Now I just need to figure out which leather strap to buy, Im leaning towards a hirsch heavy calf. Anyone have any suggestions?
A buddy of mine called asking for my opinion on this 1952 SS Seamaster w. a waffle dial. Watch looks fantastic based on the pictures, but my knowledge of Omega doesn't go back as far as the early 50s. Wondering if anyone on here can help me help him. Thanks, TRF friends. Online description: Omega SS Seamaster ref 2766-1 movement serial # 13.8 million circa 1952. 33.5 X 42mm case with wide bezel and heavy lugs, with original black waffle dial with gold applied arrowhead indexes and tapered gilt hands. Self winding calibre 344 movement with subsidiary seconds. With original faceted Omega crown. Offered on your choice of fine or distressed strap.
I waited over a year for this, last week my AD called and said get your ducks in a row, its on the way. So, a quick one hour flight from LA to the Bay Area and it was on my wrist. First impressions, the watch oozes Patek quality, sits flat on my wrist and is very comfortable (will be better with a short strap arriving in a few days), seems light weight after wearing my platinum 5905P, is very legible, and the finishing on the movement is really well done. Something that will take getting used to, the rotor noise is really loud, in fact it's the noisiest watch I've ever seen or heard. Here a couple pictures, more to follow.
