Omega 2576-12H wrist watches news:
After running across a nice Omega while on vacation, I'm interested in picking one up. However, after digging around a little, it seems the one I like is hard to come by. I checked with 5 different sources in 2 states within a radius of about 150 miles and no luck. A few have offered to get one in, some with no obligation, but I'd feel pressure to buy it even if I didn't like what I saw, so I'm reluctant to do that. Had I found it, I most likely would have purchased it, but I'm starting to become a little indifferent at this point, and may go another direction.Have any of you guys seen the black version of this thing in person? Is it rare where you live? I get the sense it's not hard to get, it just isn't being stocked. Am I correct? I know it's new this year, but it's been around for a while hasn't it? If I discover my experience is an anomaly, I might broaden my search.I'm also a little surprised by the pricing discrepancy between the blue and the black versions. Any technical reason
Hi guys,I'm considering trading (+cash) my 42mm titanium grey themes AP ROO on a bracelet for the 44mm ceramic and stainless ROO. What do you guys think? I know it's my choice and personal preference, but curious what you all think? Thanks and have great weekend.
Which are the models Panerai that have the brushed bezel? The brushed finish has nothing to do if the watch is Titanium or Steel, right?Thanks..
I never quite understood the appeal of gold hands in a steel cased Panerai until yesterday. WOW! In the right light, they REALLY GLOW / STAND OUT against the dial. It even seems to enhance legibility (although that's not much of an issue on a big faced Panerai watch). Mesmerizing. Anyone have pics of what I'm talking about?
I accidentally dropped my datejust on a tile floor and now there is a small dent on the lug. It's devastating to me and luckily the crystal didn't crack and the watch is still working fine. I know there's a watchmaker in melbourne that can laser weld it with good reputation. Would you fix it or just leave it? I can live with scratches but a dent on a 3 months old watch is bothering me a lot. You can see the dent as the part that reflects light on the lug. When you get it laser welded, I suppose you would need to remove the movement from the case in which would void the 5 years warranty?
