Jaeger LeCoultre 7002120 wrist watches news:
New for 2015, Rolex has debuted a very attractive and sporty new version of the Rolex Yacht-Master that now comes on a new type of strap called Rolex Oysterflex. More on that in a second. This reference 116655 Yacht-Master is 40mm wide but there will also be the 37mm wide ref. 268655 Yacht-Master. Unlike the traditional Yacht-Master that has been known for platinum bezels this new 2015 Yacht-Master model will come equipped with a black Cerachrom (ceramic) bezel. We really love this new black and gold theme for the Yacht-Master that is both luxurious but not blingy. The Rolex Yacht-Master 116655 contains the in-house made caliber 3135 automatic movement while the smaller 268655 contains the 2236 automatic movement. Both are more or less functionally the same being three-hand movements with the date. What is very nice about the new Cerachrom bezel is Rolex's ability to craft it with the markers in relief - which is a new process that we are interested in hearing about. This adds a new cha
Welcome back to an original watches-dealer feature, "My First Grail Watch."? In this series, we ask prominent people about the first timepiece that they lusted after. ?Today, we're speaking with Jonathan Ward, the CEO of ICON Automotive. ?You might be wondering why we're talking with a car guy - but you'll find that he's quite the watch guy as well, even going so far as to pair watches to his automotive designs.watches-dealer (ABTW): Who are you, and what is your relationship to the watch industry?Jonathan Ward (JW): I am the lead designer and CEO of a niche automotive brand called ICON. At ICON, we revisit vintage transportation designs in a modern context. So in a nutshell, we take vintage vehicles and infuse them with modern engineering to breathe new life into them, as modern daily drivers. My relationship with the watch industry is purely as an outsider and a consumer, although I have been to the Basel show and aspire to be in the business one day (that said, the monopolistic natu

I have been looking at the blue dial F1 with stainless bracelet in which I have a question. In the Oris product catalog it shows the watch with "Williams F1 Team" printed on the dial just above the day indicator. This seems to be the norm for most of the F1 watches. However, I have also seen pics of the same watch on that tv shopping channel's website identical in every way except that the dial does not have "Williams F1 Team" printed on it at all. :eek:Is one version newer than the other? If so, what kind is the latest variant? Is the one without the printing exclusive to that 'tv shopping channel'? I wouldn't think that the one without the Williams printing on the dial is a fake, but you never know. Could anyone here enlighten me on this? Thank you!
WARNING: If you're squeamish, you may want to close this thread right now.Okay, it's not that bad but now that we got that out of the way I'll show you the "before" pics. This is a 1961 gold capped Constellation Pie Pan on a two tone Beads of Rice bracelet. Inside is a 24j caliber 561 chronometer. This poor thing is beat, and it looks like water got inside. It's also been redialed at some point. Even though the work was poor all the pieces (ie: applied parts like the star logo, OMEGA, and indices) are still there which is a relief. Imagine trying to source them. The bracelet is missing a gold bead, and the clasp is broken too. It's a pity somebody let this nice of a watch deteriorate into this condition. This is a job for Bienne. I've already been in contact with them and plan on shipping it by the end of June. Sam had a look at it just to verify all the parts are authentic. He mentioned it's a lesser seen combination of case & bracelet in his experience so I'll take
