- This is a very hard core and hardy buckle strap automatic. It keeps excellent time, is rugged, and not so pricey that you dread a scratch on the crystal. If you need a good work watch, this is it, cheers!

Invicta 18457 wrist watches news:
Hi all,I just bought a vintage Hamilton Chrono with a Valjoux movement. Can anyone help identify this watch? It will need some TLC and a bezel. The hard part I think will be finding what type of bezel it would have originally had on it.Thanks for your feedback and help on this.Christopherwatchhunter.ca
I just graduated college and my grandfather gave me this vintage Patek as a graduation gift. He has had it for quite some time and does not have the certificate anymore. I'd like to know what model it is (if anyone can tell me) and what year it was made (I think early 60s from the research I've done but I can't seem to find one that matches it). Thanks for the help!P.S. - sorry for the glare in the photo.
Whats up everyone, so I finally broke down with the saint pattys promo at orientwatchusa for 50% off and ordered the world timer. I cant wait!! I have read everything ive been able to find on it and still want more. :) If anyone that owns one feels like sharing first impressions, stories, pics or anything else PLEASE DO :)! Thanks!
Unlike you giants, I frequently have to add an extra hole to my leather straps.I start by using the "tang" to make a dent inside the watch strap. Then measure the spacing between strap sides on existing holes. I mark the spot with ink, grab a small nail and hammer - and punch through. I finish off the new hole from the front side with an awl on a pocket knife.Do you have an easier way?
When setting the time on my AP Diver - the minute hand always moves when pushing the crown in to set the time. Is this normal? Thanks,Jeff
