- Bought the gunmetal. I have expensive watches and this one looks expensive and believable. Classy detailing. Will have to see how the metal holds up.

Oris 67476307154MB wrist watches news:
At Baselworld 2013 we sat down with CEO Patrik Hoffman of Ulysse Nardin to discuss their new watches and increasing developments to produce in-house movements for all of their watches. New for 2013 is an in-house made chronograph movement, as well as some surprisingly beautiful high-end pieces. See our video with Mr. Hoffman and look out for coverage of new Ulysse Nardin watches soon.

So, I am in Miami for two weeks with my wife and kids and of course watch watching and shopping is a must. Yesterday at my hotel Fontainebleau there is a watch store which I have purchased from before, they had a bunch of AP, mainly the one I have been thinking about is the 44 rose gold, 26401 which I have been on my mind. Love it....but then I went to the AP boutique at Bal Harbor tonite and they have all the new releases including the new 44 rose gold....I can't decide! The difference is that the older version can be had for about 10k cheaper. What to do!!!!?!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I recently had the opportunity to handle these two pieces, both sealed and for sale. The 5250G, a LE of 100 pieces, introduced the silicium escape wheel to a cal 315.The 5350R, a LE of 300 pieces, added a silicium hairspring to the cal 324, in addition to the sicilium escape wheel from the 5250.Interestingly they both have a magnifying glass slab added to the back side, similar to a Rolex cyclops.I know these pieces are very important historical timepieces. But do they have a role in a Patek collection with modern watches like the 5235 incorporating all the latest silicium parts?Which do you prefer - the 5250G or the 5350R? Or do you like the salmon dial 5450 or the perpetual calendar 5550 better?
So I love the Submariner I bought last month. After people on here posting such amazing pictures of the DateJust 41 I thought I would make that my next one in a few months. Then, I am watching The Color of Money two nights ago and my eyes are drawn to Newman's watch. Of course, it is a DateJust. I decide to go to the AD today and get on a list. Then wouldn't you know it, they have the exact configuration I wanted. Two new watches in a one month period of time is a bit much, but I must admit I love the new one. I cannot get myself to wear my Omegas anymore.
