Omega HH8604 wrist watches news:
This is a watch we loved a lot when we went hands-on with it at the SIHH. It’s part of the refreshed Overseas line of watches, and while it’s the sort of thing one expects from Vacheron Constantin, it’s still so nicely done and so well rooted in VC’s history that it rises above merely fulfilling expectations, and becomes something worth celebrating. 1 OF 6 The Overseas Ultra-Thin immediately struck us as reminiscent of the Vacheron Constantin 222, from the 1970s, which was along with watches like the Royal Oak and the Nautilus, part of the first generation of stainless steel watches with an integrated bracelet. All three watches, incidentally, were driven by the same movement: the Jaeger-LeCoultre caliber 920, which was the result of a development project that involved Audemars Piguet, Vacheron Constantin, and Patek Philippe. The Vacheron Constantin version of this movement is VC caliber 1120. 2 OF 6 When we first announced the Overse
First time post here but avid reader I am looking to buy my son a Vintage Patek for a graduation gift but want to keep it below $10k for him...does anyone have any recommendations? I'm not very knowledgeable on the vintage side so I was hoping for some guidance on what he would be able to cherish for a while to come.
Hi Everyone,I've been a long-time Rolex and Panerai Owner, but today I became an even happier AP Owner...suddenly the stars have aligned, and the right 26300 for me just happened to show up in the hands of DavidSW. As most of you know, David's timepieces are always immaculate, to say the least. Excellent guy, highly recommended to do business with. And, when I say that the stars have aligned, I really mean it, since I live about 40 mins from DavidSW offices, and 1 hour from AP newly established Customer Service Center, in Clearwater FL...what more motivation could I ask for to pull the trigger!!!...Oh yes, there is another piece of motivation: This 26300 was originally purchased from an AP Boutique in 05/2015...which gives it plenty of warranty!Today, I grabbed my Daytona, drove my 40 mins, met with DavidSW, unhesitantly traded in my watch (plus $$$),...and I am now the happy owner of this bad boy:
Just wanted to say hello to everyone on the Omega Discussion Forum with my latest acquisition and first Omega! This watch has everything I need in a travel watch. I'm an attorney and travel frequently so both the GMT and the chrono (to keep track of billable time) will both be of frequent use! It's a shame this watch doesn't get much press and there are only a few articles about it online- mostly from when the watch was announced. I think it's a great value for the price. GMT, chronograph, in-house coaxial chronometer movement. I couldn't ask for much more, except perhaps being a bit thinner so it fits under my shirt cuffs better, but I can always order wider cuffs :). It will be taking significant wrist time from my other watches
Sorry if this is an obvious question. It seems to me that the latest generation of mesh bracelets for the Planet Ocean models is a lot different than the previous version. I am asking because I have not been able to locate a current generation mesh model in my area to compare. The previous version with the spring adjustable diver extension was very cool but rather bulky. It seems they have gone away from that style for something less bulky. Is this the case or am I totally missing something? How do they compare? Which do you guys prefer?
