Seiko Seiko 45334 wrist watches news:
I picked up Lord Elgin Meridian, with a case, dial and crystal in great shape. Unfortunately, the movement wasn't working. With Genejockey's help, I was able to remove the stem and drop the dial and movement out. As Genejockey thought, the dial was out of place and the movement actually started to beat and run. Unfortunately, the stem screw must be stripped and the dial worked its way loose again, stopping the hands. At that point, I ordered the same exactly movement with the correct dial from the bay and was able to easily drop it in the case and attach the stem. The movement seems to be keeping great time and second hand lacks the stutter that some 724 movements experience. In addition to the movement, I buffed the 14k gold filled case and polished the bezel to bezel crystal. Overall, the case is in great shape, with a minute bit of wear on the bottom of one lug and some tool marks where the caseback was popped off.So with a little help from our great forum member, I have working

So, a few changes to the AP collection:- The 57th Street has gone to a new home, a lovely gentleman who was a pleasure to deal with. - The Novelty Rose Gold has gone to a different home, again a very nice chap who was also a pleasure to deal with. - The Legacy has made its way to yet another abode, the beast will be missed!I have some interesting bits on order, if AP ever decide to confirm, but in the meantime, I treated myself to this:
And it's only plus one second Damn I love Omega
Hey Guys,I've been looking around for a new Panerai to join my PAM000, something with a little more going on than my beloved yet plain base model. I've settled on the 312, as it has a lot of what I'm looking for - 1950 case, sandwich dial, automatic in-house mvmt, display case back, seconds hand, etc. However it seems to be thicker than the 000? Does it wear larger than the 000 (or similar models) or does it feel pretty much the same?At 44mm my Zero is my absolute limit, size-wise, thus my concern. With my 6.5 wrist would I be better off with a 392/1392?(I have tried on the 392 and 1392, but not a 312 yet.)Thanks guys!
