Jaeger LeCoultre 700.26.71 wrist watches news:
I was informed today by Rolex service that a diamond dial that I purchases almost 20 years ago was not Rolex. Needless to say I was stunned and wonder how this watch could have been serviced several times since then with no issue. What are the most economical options for replacing this dial and retuning this watch to Rolex specifications?Rolex Datejust 26mm lady's
Hey guysNew guy here who recently got into watches. It started with a Luminox that I was given at my academy graduation, it broke about 8 months later after i changed the time. I tried to get it fixed but customer service sucked, so in the end I have ended up with a Lum Tec B12. I have also discovered a lot of other manufactures and watch makes that I am interested in durring my search for a new work watch. Odd how it starts.
My father just gave me his old solo tank mens cartier watch, nice gift, but it is a quartz and the battery is dead. Should I change the battery from a local dealer(NON-AD) or ship it off to a AD. All I think it needs is a new battery and it will be working fine!
If you dismiss the intangibles, how much better is a fine Swiss watch than say an Alpha or an Orient? Don't get me wrong, I value the intangibles and would have a few IWC, PP and VC, but can't justify spending as much on a few watches as on our Jeep.I have one Alpha that I don't think is a copy/homage of anything but haven't had it long enough to know what it will do in the long run.
Long time collector but always on the sidelines.Decided to take the next step and join the community.Have always enjoyed the great conversations on the forum. After many watches from lange, rolex, ap, patek, fp journe, i have to say that this watch has the it factor. I think it becomes the 5711 of the future. If a decide to open it, i will post the obligatory wrist-shot. Decisions, decisions???
