Chopard 13/6818 wrist watches news:
I came across this great ad this morning:ELGIN april 1942.jpgAfter noticing there was an actual name, I decided to do some research, and this is what I came up with:TogetherWeServed - 2d Lt Charles L. Hollis, JrVery moving story, if there is any actual connection between the two.I personally think it is a true connection, and not a made up name for the ad, it's too much of a coincidence.

I had a sudden business trip to Los Angeles this week and decided to bring just one watch, with GMT complication of course. The beauty of the 233 with its quick change strap is the look can vary with minimal bother. This is a zippered pouch from a company called Granite Gear, not sure exactly where I got it. And the Milgauss a scratch magnet (especially that bracelet) and sat a little tall.I am attracted to the history of the Explorer I, the simplicity, and the way it can cover both dress and sport duty (this will be my ONE watch). What am I forgetting, what am I overlooking, what should I be aware of before pricing and putting an order on the Explorer I?Some info about me:I have about a 6.75 flat wrist. And I like watches to take most of said wrist, but not overhang.I dress in dress shirts weekdays, polos and tshirts on the weekends. My watch history has l
