Rado R13663162 wrist watches news:
The inaugural Hong Kong “Watches and Wonders” fair ¡ª inspired by the rapid growth of the Asian market and showcasing new watches from 13 luxury watch maisons ¡ª was held September 25-28 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. In this article from my blog, Watch-Insider, I present four new models (actually, line extensions) from one of the exhibiting brands, IWC.The IWC Portuguese collection has one of the longest traditions of all the watch families from IWC, and emphasizes clarity, purist elegance and innovation, combined with precision and state-of-the-art mechanics. The new Portuguese Hand-Wound Eight Days has all the Portuguese’s unmistakable design cues. The watch has a power reserve of 192 hours, or eight full days. A sapphire caseback provides a view of the technically sophisticated, rugged and reliable IWC-manufactured 59215 movement, which also incorporates a power-reserve display. The silver-plated dial has Arabic numerals and traditional feuille-s
I can always count on Glycine to present respectable looking watches. With a long history of pilot's watches, and some great diving watches (the Lagunare line), there is always an inherent "active" look to their watches. On top of that, Glycine is good about releasing new watches with regularity and this Basel World is no different. My choice from their new selection is the Glycine Incursore Black Jack Small Seconds. The Incursore line of watches all share similar faces and numbering. With a look a lot like Panerai, Glycine is not presenting a copy but its own interpretation of the theme. Glycine is a Swiss watch maker, not Italian like Panerai, but the name "Incursore" is Italian and comes from the military "Frogmen" that engaged frequently during World War II. Panerai watches were originally designed for the same purposes. That being high legibility in dark and wet conditions while being stealthy and solid. That is the purpose behind the large, well-spaced numerals and hour indicators
I don't care what others think, somethimes I go for the underdog ;) ;) ;)
If anyone is interested, I saw the new Omega '57 Speedmaster at the Omega Boutique in Los Angeles, at the Beverly Center. They had just one in stock, in their vault. Black dial, SS bracelet. At least, it was there as of Friday. Also, Feldmar's, also in LA, just received one today. Black dial, SS bracelet (I believe). They will take orders from out of state as well. First class AD and they usually will discount.I passed on the watch...it's gorgeous and a perfect size, but the timing isn't right for me. So, given that it's fairly new and not in a lot of stores yet, thought I'd put out the word...
Could I seek somebody's kind help to point me to any available scan of a manual for this Montreal Olympic watch - something that tells you how to set the time and use the chrono function. Many thanks for your help.Kind regards, Shairan
