Bell and Ross BRWW1-MONO-HER/S wrist watches news:
It's an interesting time for Patek Philippe from a collector's standpoint. The company has stopped production of some of its greatest complications (the 3970, 5970, 5070, 5004, etc.), they’ve raised their prices substantially (in what I believe to be an attempt to sideline the secondary market), and a new generation of Stern has taken over as president. I’ve been somewhat skeptical about the direction of the brand based on some of the latest design updates, but after cutting the seal on the new ref. 5396G for Tiffany & Co., I know that the brand still cares about collectors. A lot.In fact, I think this watch is a message to collectors everywhere that Patek Philippe will continue to create instant classics. And this 5396 limited edition is one of them. 2 OF 7 The 5396G is an annual calendar made in a limited edition of 100 pieces to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the opening of the Patek Philippe boutique inside the Fifth Avenue Tiffany &a
Hey I wonder if those of you who seem to a have some terrific knowledge of watches and movements and don't seem to mind sharing, wouldn't mind sharing some not really negatives but what to maybe avoid models of a particular brand. Brand Loyalty is strong with many things; whether its cars, watches, firearms, camera's etc. Yet I know that even under the same brand of my beloved there are some stinkers. Not just from a sales stand point but lets say quality. Somethings don't sell well b/c of the economy so that doesn't count as to a failure in this case. I'd like to see maybe a list of their "best" and "Worst" and why. I know its subjective. Just wonder what it would look like. Some examples of what is bad. I'm a GM guy yet the Chevy Citation was a rust bucket, as were many in that GM Family. GM tried putting a diesel in a Caddy and Olds wagons, junk everyone. Remember 4,6,8? There was the TECH4 engine that sounded like a diesel. Now there are many great, fantastic cars that GM made now
Rarity is one of our key values, so, after three very successful years, Horological Machine No2 takes one last bow on center stage in 2011 with two final limited editions of only 18 pieces each! Based on the most extreme version, the Sapphire Vision (SV) case, we are proud to introduce:The HM2 Black SV : Black titanium case back - green gasket – green 22k gold rotor (limited edition 18 pieces)
I was wondering if there are any self-wound automatic watches with a moonphase dial (or just the moon/sun rotating thing) under $300? Thanks!
