Hi. I don't know where to start so I'll just start from the beginning. About 10 years ago I bought the watch titled above from what I thought was a reputable home shopping channel at the time. They were known at the time as Valuevision but have been purchased for some time now as ShopNBC, which continues to this day. Well, a couple of years ago I was doing some research about the brand and noticed a lot of sellers use the term "manufacturers serial numbers intact". So guess what I find when I look for my serial numbers? That's right, they've been removed. Not only was I stunned and shocked but I was more than a little angry. I was the victim of a grey market watch from a shopping channel. My question is this, does my watch have any resale value? It's never been worn and is still in the original box with papers. Any commentary or insight would surely be appreciated. Thanks.

Is Seiko Discontinuing the 6R20 Movement ?
I read recently that the new Seiko Premiers no longer have the 6R20 movement, but instead use a new caliber 4R39 with a lower beat frequency (21600 vs. 28800 for the 6R20).Is this correct?Are there any other Seikos which use the 6R20 movement? Or does this mean that the 6R20 movement is now discontinued? I think that would be a crying shame. IMO, the 6R20 is the best value movement Seiko offers. I have had my Seiko Premier Auto for about six months and I wear it more than any other watch I own. In fact, I am wearing it right now. And I own a Credor, a Grand Seiko, a Spring Drive, a two-tone Rolex Datejust, Rolex GMT Master II, a Breitling Super Ocean, an IWC, an Omega Seamaster, and several other watches. This is the first movement I have seen from Seiko that competes with the ETA 2824 from a price/performance standpoint. My Premier can hold its own IMO with mid-level Breitlings and Omegas for a much better price.If Seiko is truly discontinuing this movement, I think it is a go

Buying Rolex in California Oregon or Nevada
Hi Everyone,I am new to the forum, I live in Manchester UK and was looking to buy a new Rolex. However many of the ones I like have a long wait here in the UK.I am visiting America at the end of Next month (23rd March 2018) and will be in LA, Palm Springs, Laughlin and Las Vegas. I am hoping to get a SS Skydweller, A SS Daytona C or a Hulk?Few questions.1) What are the chances of me getting one of these watches in 7 weeks time when I am over there? If there is no chance, I am back in September, so would that be more realistic?2) Are there any discounts off list price on the watches I like?3) Will I have to pay US sales tax, even though I am a tourist?4) Will it be worth the very long drive to Oregon, where there is no sales tax?the US/UK prices are similar, I am just hoping there is better availability in the USA, or if I can get a discount or avoid sales tax, it does work out slightly cheaper in the USA.Thanks in Advance!
