Good Afternoon All,New to the forum and so happy to have found this community. I have had many watches through the years, but as I get old I have moved away from having uber expensive trendy brand names and decided that for me quality, uniqueness, and functionality are the most important things. I have divested B&M, B&R, and a few other recognizable names.I found the Hamilton BelowZero H785550 out of the blue, sold all of my other watches, and this has become my favorite automatic time piece I¡¯ve owned to date. Simple, but sylish, solidly built and somewhat timeless (pardon the pun).I am having a small problem with the watch and I was hoping that someone would be able to shed some light on this. I bought the watch from ashford . com where they assure their watches are direct from the manufacturer and 100% authentic. Raymond Weil Parsifal Chronograph in the box
I have been admiring this watch for quite some time. I like the Raymond Weil brand because of their designs and craftmanship and the Parsifal will fit into my collection right next to the Freelancer. I may have been drawn to the brown dial and the Roman numeral markers that are not just standard X's ans I's.Or it could be the 57-jewel Caliber RW 7310 movement. I can't say for sure, but it appears to be a base ETA 2892-A2 movement with a Dubois Depraz 2021 Tri Compax Chronograph Module with the date between 4 and 5.I also like the polished stainless steel case with finely brushed accents and the custom fit dark brown alligator leather strap.And at 41mm wide and 12mm thick it is a very nice fit.I also like the various shades of brown available under different lighting conditions.I'll be wearing this most of the weekend.

Omega ~ The end of the road
Ploprof lasted just over 2 years,then suddenly gained an hour in 6 hours running.Got a quote from the distributors.Expensive.Can only test to 1000m.If rated at 1200m needs to fly to the swiss,at even higher expense.This was my first Omega ...and my last.Proceeds from selling will contribute to my Rolex fund.

Oooops, I did it again!!!!
Some time in late September, I decided to step out of my Panerai and Rolex shell and go for a sporty Patek. I was fortunate to have all the fellow Patek owners here who gave some very valuable inputs. In came this beauty:She was stunning and the blue dial, absolutely mesmerizing. The 5711 was like a piece of art that is ready for the Guggenheim museum. On the other hand, it was also dressy, classy and just Pierce Brosnan like cool! However, I am no Pierce Brosnan. I am mostly a jean and t-shirt guy and according to my wife, goofy. The thinner 5711 case along with the sharp and dressy feel and I just did not jive. 5711 maybe perfect for most, unfortunately, it was not for me. 5167 is also out of the picture since the case is about the same thickness as the 5711 and a tad too thin for my taste.
