Technomarine 112002 wrist watches news:
People who enjoy 3D printing as a hobby tend to like mechanical things, and you know what that means - a lot of them are going to be watch guys. Even Bre Pettis, the founder of Makerbot (probably the most popular producer of 3D printers for consumers) is a big watch lover. The 3D printing universe has opened up a world of very interesting possibilities in the realm of horology. While 3D printed watches aren't a glorious reality yet, we've seen an number of developments over the last year, such as the 3D Printed Tourbillon here (which you can buy). Now, check out this 300% Rolex Submariner watch designed and produced by Franc Falco as an homage to his own personal Rolex Submariner. The plans for this awesome giant dive watch are available for anyone to download via Thingversewatches-dealer, a repository of 3D printable projects. The plans include not only the schematics for all the parts you'll need (expect for the clock mechanism which is a cheap separate purchase), but also a detailed
Hello everyone. Looking for advice on buying a watch for myself in the $100-150 price range (college kid best I can do lol) I got two specifics as to what I like in a watch: Leather bands only, numbers not a big fan of just dashes. I have been looking on Amazon at watches don't know if that's a good place to shop, advice on that? now I will post some pictures so y'all can see what I like. Thanks for the help.Is Le Chateau a good brand because this one is Top 1/2.From what I have read from lurking Seiko is a pretty good starter brand? Top 1/2Is Stuhrling a good brand? I have seen a good bit of their watches I like. Number 3Now I know y'all are against watches from clothing brands, I understand that and that pushed me away from this watch but the styling is gorgeous to me and if it wasn't made by Tommy Hilfiger it would be Number 1
Just picked it up today from local AD. Got a slight discount. It will be a daily watch, how easily does the clasp scratch? I work on a mac and I'm afraid the keyboard part were I rest my hand will scratch against it. PP_5167A_1.jpgPP_5167A_2.jpgPP_5167A_3.jpg
Hi All, Long time lurker, first time poster!! After a few months of research and phoning around dealers I managed to obtain a BN 5711 about a month ago and all has been well so far, love the watch to bits! I had to get a 1.5 link installed to get a nice fit on the wrist, however I have recently had issues with the clasp popping open when flexing my wrist at certain angles for example, if climbing out swimming pool or pushing myself up from the desk at work... I used to have similar issue with a Cartier Tank Francaise a few years ago and actually lost that watch, obviously dont want a repeat experience.......AD said to bring it back so he can look it over, just wondered if anyone else had suffered this issue?? Cheers.
I had the opportunity to try a Panerai 511 at the Panerai boutique in Toronto a while back. I think it was about two months ago....well, since then it's been hovering in the brain. That watch impressed me with its simplicity and the gold. Was wondering if any one here on TRF has one. Or, even a gold piece from Panerai. I want to see how the gold on Panerai holds up.
