Piaget G0A32018 wrist watches news:
When you consider what goes on inside of a watch movement, it is impressive that they even work at all. I mean really, have you ever considered the delicate dance of components harmonically beating and gyrating to the rhythm of the balance wheel which must maintain a strenuously high level of consistency? To think such sophistication was birthed so long ago, and yet only now serious improvement are being made. The constant motion of component on component is a close relationship of neighboring metals (literally), and has the unpleasant side effect of friction. If you are mechanically minded, you will surely fathom that years of metal on metal contact has the side effect of wearing out the parts. I'm doing a little debating between the 15300 and 15400, like I'm sure many have before me. I do not live in an area that has an AP dealer nearby so I'm flying a bit blind. There are several threads that already cover people's preference so I'm not looking to reboot that, but does anyone have advice for me with my inability to actually try one on?I guess I could always wait until I travel to a city with an AD but I even then I'm not guaranteed to run across either one of those models. Has anyone ever purchased one blindly and then flipped to the other because of size preference?
Get a look at what I found at my local AD! This was massive in person and I was sorely tempted to try it on but we were in a hurry... so maybe next time I can strap this pie pan to my wrist and take a couple shots! The sales lady said I can get a VERY good price for it too Here is all the info I could find on this giant:Omega Seamaster Railmaster XXL Chronometer Watch, limited edition of 157pcs, 18kt rose gold case (49.2mm diameter), polished 18kt rose gold bezel, leather strap with 18kt rose gold clasp, black dial with luminescent index and Arabic numeral hour markers, small seconds hand at 6 o'clock, Omega #2201 manual-wind mechanical movement, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, water resistant to 150 meters.Anyone out there actually own one of the 157 that were made?
