- The watch seemed pretty at site, but was not very appealing when i received it. The steel strap looked faded.... And watch mirror was bit dirty....

- The main reason I bought this watch was for it's sleek look. I have had the watch for about a month now and it's still ticking. Don't recommend it to a friend, buy it for yourself.

Omega 2208.50.00 wrist watches news:
Hi forum!I'm trying to ID a vintage Patek Philippe and have not been successful, so I googled and found you lot. Can anyone offer some insight on the picture attached? Disregard the gold bracelet as that is unoriginal. Based on circumstances I should think that the watch is from the 50'ies, but this may be completely wrong. The watch is solid gold, but the picture seems to suggest otherwise. Thanks in advance for your effort!19532.jpgEdit: Size is about 37mm. There is a 5 digit number starting with 98 on the movement, not sure of that is model or series number.
In Fred Friedberg's wonderful book, "The Illinois Watch" The life and times of a great American watch company,There are 4 Logical "Periods" for Illinois watches...1) Transitional Pre World War I to the early 1920's2) Generic Early 1920's to early 1930's3) Deco Late 1920's to early 1930's4) Moderne Early 1930'sHere is a wonderful example of a "Telephone" Dial from the Transitional period. The porcelain dial was very susceptible to cracking and chipping. To find one in mint condition is a real treat. This example comes with hinged lugs.and the case is sterling silverDimentions:35mmX36mmNice clean 17 Jewel MovementAnd yesinspired by the invention of the Telephone in 1919.ENJOY!
This could very well be one of my favorite ROOs of all time. Enjoy gentlemen!https://.watchcollectinglifestyle...es-and-pricing
Quick question about the screw down crown on a DateJust 41. When I unscrew it it turns counterclockwise. Now when I go to turn it clockwise to wind it the crown kind of pops out a bit more. It does not do this every time. So turning it counterclockwise does not always get it it to the wind position and it jumps out a bit more when I start to wind it. Does it about 35% of the time. This is tough to explain in typing but what I am trying to say is a new watch's crown sticking like this a bit just a matter of it being new? Again it does not do it every time but it is brand new from an AD from earlier today.
Just had a call from crouch ( Cardiff ) offered one SD43 so anyone wanting it be quick they gave me an hour to call back
