Distorting History - Horology?
I am just back a trip to Switzerland, the undisputed heart of watch design and making, so much so that it amazes me that companies with the standing of Hermes feel they must distort the truth of 'Horology'Flicking through a magazine in the airport lounge, I come across this lovely piece. Immediately I am impressed and delighted to see modern designs using the beautiful designs of the past.Especially one as super as this and with out any doubt the 'beginning of the wristwatch' an are of such great interest and passion to me.But on reading closely it says, and I quote"On this photo dating from 1912, Jacqueline Hermes wears the ingenious leather strap encasing a pocket watch 'designed by her father'. Green Watches
I was thinking about this last night, and I come on here today and see Scott D post his gameday Falcons watch, so now I am convinced it was divine providence that I obtain a green watch to show my support for the NY Jets (Dennis, no Eagles green, thankyouverymuch).So, suggestions please. Just keep it reasonable, less than $400 or there about (less is better, it'll be a beater based on the Jets history).

Royal Oak Incoming!!!
Just got my Royal Oak 15400 Black Dial. I've been debating for months which watch I should pick up next and finally picked this once an awesome deal popped up. I had tried it on many times before buying it and fell in love with it, so I'm beyond happy to finally have it on my wrist. The bracelet is ridiculously comfortable and the dial and movement are beautiful to look at. I'm finally content with my collection and don't see myself buying a new watch for a very long time, nor can I really afford one after this. Bonus collection shot at the end!

My First AP Experience
I went to a local AP AD while visiting my parents in Naples, FL today.I never saw an AP Royal Oak 15400 in person and had to try one on. Before I had seen it in person, I was skeptical of what others had seen in this watch. The pictures did not thrill my soul or create the I must have this - I NEED THIS! syndrome that I have been inflicted with when seeing other watches on line. As I took off my newly acquired Hulk and placed the silver dial RO on my wrist, I became enamored with this exquisite timepiece. The watch and I took to each other the way Thor and his hammer must have when they first met.Now, the dilemma has set in. I have found my grail (or maybe it has found me) and have to think about how I can eventually acquire one. I know that of the 4 Rolex watches I own, the EXP II would be the first to go. Then I am guessing that my PAM 048 would be next. That still is not enough to come close to financing my silver cloud grail.Oh the joy and agony of truly finding your grail and the
