- This watch is good looking both for formal and casual use. The face is large enough to see easily, but dainty enough to be dressy. The little diamond chip really dresses it up!

This took a couple of days longer to do than I thought but here are some pics of the trip on the way from Chicago to the Black Hills. There are alot of them!Woke up to some fog on Sunday morning.Fog cleared up and got a road shot of a windmill farm. This is Chamberlin South Dakota. Not in the Black Hills but a nice vista. Apparently they have a problem with poisonous snakes.Found the world's smallest biker bar during a stop to get gas.Passing through Stugis, SD. Coincidentally there was a Mustang Rally going on when we arrived. Sadly I didn't get any usable shots of the sweet Mustangs rolling around. Finally made it to Deadwood. We stopped at a winery on the way to Hill City to ride the 1880 train. At 1880 Train in Hill City, SD. Here's a brief history. 1880 Train has three engines that are in service. The engine that was used the day we went was built in 1920. 1880 refers to the year that the tracks were laid. Tickets were for a round trip from Hill City to Keystone. The cities
So I finally tried this amazing watch on last night at my AD, what an amazing dial! it really pops....only problem was the size, I have a very small wrist and there was too much space on both sides of the lug; when compared to a daytona, the top and bottom of the watch extended more above my wrist....I also tried a ROO with RC and it fit pretty well, I would say it looked and felt like a better fit even-though it's still too big for my taste as I'm looking for something I can wear with dress shirts on a daily basis.I was wondering how the 15300 compares as far as lug to lug size goes from the top and bottom where the bracelet joins.Does 15300 have the same silver/white dial? in the pics it seems it's just white? Thanks in advance!
I have a?Speedmaster Triple Calendar ?3523.30.00 with 1151 movement. My question is about the 24 hr. hand. Can it be uncoupled from the running time hour hand? In other words have it work like a 2nd TZ like a GMT would. I don't have the official manual and did some reading of scanned manuals for the reference and the 1151 caliber but no mention. Thanks for info - and if age matters - the watch was originally sold in 2000 with the newer 24 hr. arrow hand. Here's a pic of the dial. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hi Guys,Never owned an Omega myself, but I'm thinking of buying one for my Father for his birthday. I much prefer the idea of getting hold of a pre-owned quartz model simply because Omega don't produce these anymore. Reason behind getting quartz is, my father has a couple other watches that he likes to swap between so having a quartz he could just put on and not have to worry about setting the time, unlike the automatic which I think has around 48hr power reserve. I personally would like the auto, but I'm just thinking he's not the kind of guy that can be bothered with setting the time and it'd probably end up sitting in the watch box unworn. He's of old age now, so the least amount of hassle for him the better. I want it to be his favourite watch, as his others aren't very fancy etc.Question is how do you guys rate the 300M Quartz, I tried on the current auto model yesterday and got to say it was absolutely lovely....so how does the quartz compare? I'm trying to find one privately and
