U-Boat 1840 wrist watches news:
Calibration of ORIS FC4 flight watch, mainly to correct, the movement of the heart, movement of the correction of the central independent of the minute of the hour-minute show was at hand, cannot affect the case with the second hand is accurate read. The movement will be used in calibration of flight watch, ORIS creative ingenuity, because for the pilot, the minutes indicates the meaning of the most critical real. Bezel of the watch, particularly to replace digital clock-minute numbers, has a strong statement of every minute flight time.

Orient sent me a one-day-only coupon for 49% off so I'm thinking about picking up a second Orient to go with "The Tank" (CFDAC004W) that I've already got. I've narrowed it down to two orange and black models. It's pure coincidence that I picked out two orange and black models, but I'm a big Orioles fan so maybe that's why I like the color combo. Plus they'll match my jersey and other O's gear. Now if the team would just stop sucking...Anyways, on to the watch options.1st option - CET0B001B ($105):42mm case diameter100m water resistscrewed-down crownComplications: date indicator, day hand, 24 hour handOr on a black leather strap for $97...2nd option - CFM00001B ($186):44.5mm case diameter 100m water resistscrewed-down crownskeleton casebackComplications: power reserve, dateAlso available in the Orioles home jersey option...Or with more orange:Thoughts? Preferences?
I tried a Planet Ocean 2500 at a Omega boutique store, and I nearly took this one home today. Cooler heads prevailed, as I need to make sure it's what I really want. The model I tried was the non orange model with a waterproof leather strap. It was also the 41.5 mm model, which did fit me very well. The only thing stopping me from the newer 8500 model is the price and the thicker size... For those of you with a P0 2500, please post photos and contribute your thoughts to the this enabling threat, as I might head back to the Omega boutique store this week....
An AD in the Los Angeles area offered me no tax (10%) because I'm in the military and free deep cleanings on a SS Datejust with plain bezel and stick markers. Good or not? Also, I prefer the black, but how many of you would go for blue? Thanks.
