Watch Insider: Introducing TAG Heuer’s New In-House Movement, Caliber 1969
TAG Heuer’s new integrated mechanical chronograph movement, Caliber 1969, is now being produced at the recently finished fourth TAG Heuer factory, in Chevenez in the Swiss Jura. I take you inside the brand-new facility, and examine the details of the new in-house movement, in this article from my blog, Watch-Insider.In 2009, TAG Heuer launched Caliber 1887, based ¡ª as you may know by now ¡ª on an old Seiko chronograph movement (and made its debut in the TAG Heuer Carrera 1887; click here for WatchTime’s test of that watch). Pragnell have opened up a new branch in Mayfair and have had some hard to find models popping up in the window since they opened. They had a 5930G in the window a few weeks ago and today they had a 5235G, neither of which I have ever seen in an AD window in London before!Great store and friendly staff so worth popping in if you are in the area.
