IWC IW500917 wrist watches news:
Well, we kind of knew this was coming, we just didn't know when. This is the Shawn Carter By Hublot Classic Fusion, a new limited edition watch designed by Mr. Carter himself and produced by Hublot. But before we get into this new watch, let's go through a bit of the back story.? Jay Z means a lot to watches, and one could venture to say that watches mean a lot to him.? He's been a Rolex guy from some of his earliest verses, and he was one of the very first to have the foresight, along with the folks at Audemars Piguet, to work on a limited edition, personality-driven timepiece. He was an AP friend and client for years, and even signed and donated his own AP tourbillon to charity. Coincidentally, when our editor Ben Clymer interviewed LeBron James two years ago for Jay's website Life & Times, about his then brand new relationship with AP, LBJ mentioned that it was indeed Jay who introduced him to the brand. And now, as of four days ago, LeBron has his very own AP.? And then came Jay's
The selection for this week's Bring A Loupe doesn't have any particular theme – its aim was simply to find some of the coolest watches available right now. You will find one of the greatest Lange watches ever made; a Rolex Explorer with a very special dial; and an electric blue Memovox from Jaeger-LeCoultre. There will also be one Universal Geneve that you should not be willing to buy under any circumstances. And you will discover why a Patek was recently sold for 10 times its initial estimate. This is your Bring A Loupe for December 11, 2015. A Lange & Sohne Tourbillon Pour le Merite, One Of The Four Founding Models 1 OF 12 In Walter Lange's own words, the Tourbillon Pour le Mérite was the "technical masterpiece" of Lange re-birth in 1994. It was indeed the first time that a wristwatch featured a fusee-and-chain transmission, coupled with a tourbillon. And this superlative model is fitted in a case only 39 mm in diameter. The
Esteemed and fellow watch fans.Noticed a friend of mine wearing this vintage Longines. When I asked him about it he said it was his fathers but didnt know the year of manufacture He was guessing some time in the 50's??? With that said, if there's anyone out there who knows what would be the year of manufacture for this watch, please let me know. Also posted this on the General Forum...Sorry the pic focused on my pants instead of the watch!!!
Guys, First and foremost, good morning to you all! I have recently noticed some scratches on my 15400ST.OO.1220ST.02 R.O. and I just can't seem to get over them. I was wondering if anybody had their bracelet polished by the AP factory, and if so, how long does this take and how much are they charging for this? Also, is it possible to refinish the bracelet alone without any intervention on the watch itself? And the second, more radical option: where would I be able to buy a replacement bracelet for my watch? Needless to say that I don't have an authorised AP dealer in my country.. Also, do you have an idea about how much would it cost to buy a new bracelet? (I'm talking steel here)Thanks and best regards,Calin
Just picked up a 114060. Can¡¯t see myself ever giving this guy up. I bought it grey market 2 months old (nov 2017). It hurts me inside a little bit knowing that my name isn¡¯t on the cardIn a sense it makes me feel like it will never be ¡°my¡± watch.Does anyone else get bugged out by this? Or am I just being insane lolSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
