What It's Like To Be A Watch Blogger After 2,500 Posts
A few days ago, watches-dealer (formerly aBlogtoRead) hit the 2,500 posts milestone. It was only about a year ago that we celebrated our 2,000 posts milestone - with that really cool graphic I so enjoyed. In the last year a lot has happened over here at watches-dealer - it still feels funny using the new name as it is less than a month old at the time of writing this. During that time I have been interviewed in a lot of places, referenced in some major magazines and publications, and more or less sort of went mainstream. One reason aBlogtoRead as a name was retired was because the site for years now really hasn't been the niche watch lover blog for horologists only, but something a bit larger.Typically, this would be the time when someone in my position would thank everyone involved, say it has been amazing, and promise you all sorts of cool stuff for the future. Each year I head to Hershey PA with my Uncle for a wondrous event called the "Porsche Swap Meet". cpa-pca.org/swap/ Thousands of afficionado's go there to buy used parts from other Club members, and gaze at all the cars, usually over 1000 Porsches in one place, the largest gathering in the US. They have a concours event (cleanest, nicest version of a particular model wins the event) and some people sell other auto related items. I was looking through one of the guy's tables and was very surprised to see the following it was an intersection between my 2 loves, Rolexes and PorschesI had never seen these before so I took the pics for you guys. Additionally, I met a gentleman from my Porsche Webforum that also drove up from the DC area. I had only seen him once before at an event. I've seem to have gotten lucky with my latest Seiko purchase, an OM born in Nov. of '08. During the day it loses 5 seconds and at night, laying face up on my nightstand, it gains 5 seconds. I've had it for about three months now and this is what it's done since day one. The watch is always within a 5 second window of internet time!Anyone else have this kind of accuracy with a 7S26 B movement?

AP newbie question
Never really looked into AP too much but always admired the various material divers mainly the ceramic but here's a question are AP like Rolex when it comes to modifications and sourcing parts?I only ask as I'd imagine a SS diver with ceramic bezel would look great!

Dilemma time.I have the 2015 speedmaster 57 with the broad arrow hands.Great watch. Keeps great time.The dilemma is that I've always wanted the moonwatch and it's been bothering me.Ideally I would keep both, but I think I only want only one chrono. If I'm going to have one chrono, I feel that it needs to be the speedy pro.We all know what makes the speedy pro so great. It's an icon and I think it's more versatile than the 57 and it sits a bit better since the 57 is pretty thick.The 57 is objectively the better watch though. Column wheel chrono, co-axial, date, 100m water resistance.The moonwatch has been eating away at the back of my mind for the last 2 years.Not sure what to do.
