Hi All. I just picked up this thin-o but I have no idea the year or model. I haven't been able to find another one quite like it. As best as I can figure, it's late 60's, but I've found similar dial motifs as early as 61 or as late as early 70's.Any help would be appreciated. BTW, the pics don't do justice. It's a beauty even though it may well be fake :). Are ultrasonic cleaners safe for mechanical watches? I assume that they are, but I have not read reviews or heard confirmation of this theory. Can someone confirm please? Specifically I have a Sinn 556, but many watches use the ETA 2824-2 movement.

Hello, Pardon the simplicity of this question...I am curious as to where these watches are generating massive monetary value. I understand materials, craftsmanship, and precision come into play, but it seems like AP's lower end models are leaps and bounds ahead of many other luxury brands as far as pricing goes.
