Seiko SNDD57 wrist watches news:
Hey guys & gals,I had a couple questions I'm hoping someone can help with.. 1)When did the 18K Submariner get solid center links in the bracelet? Is there a reference # 'cut-off' for the old vs. new bracelet?2)When did the 18K YAcht-Master get solid center links, or was it the same time as the 18k Sub? 3)When did the President bracelet get solid center links (or has it always had solid links on the president bracelet)? Again, is there a model # that would be the cutoff or was it a month & year? Thanks everyone!
Got the call from my AD this afternoon to say the my Planet Ocean had arrived. It was a nice suprise as I was expecting it to be another couple of weeks yet as Omega had told the AD it would be a 3 week wait when I ordered it. I managed to rush into London just before closing to pick it up and I am well chuffed!!First impressions are that it is BIG BIG BIG, but that the 42mm size just looked small compared to my 300M Chrono, however the 45.5 is still lighter than the 300M Chrono. The bracelet is fantastic (think I may get half a link more taken out for a more snug fit) and feels great, and the Lume is absolutely superb!!All in all its been a great weekend (see my other thread re: bracelet) and hopefully I will be able to pick up a Speedy in another few months to go along with my Seamasters.
I am interested in buying a nice mechanical watch, and two that I really like are the following: Longines Automatic Hydroconquest Chronograph L3.651.4.56.6 and the Tag Heuer Aquaracer Automatic Chronograph caf2110.ba0809. From the spec's, the watches look almost identical. Can someone explain to me what the major differences would be between the two? Why is the Tag more expensive? Are there any other watches in that price range I should be looking at that are similar in form, fit, and function? In general, I know this question is asked all the time, and it's hard to quantify, but which is "better"?
Hey All:I love the way that Traser uses multiple H3 tube colors...I guess being owned by MB-Microtec is a good thing as you get First Pick from a wide spectrum of colors. They are adding more automatic offerings as well which is great! So, any Traser owners, please post up those colorful pics.tia...
Hi,I just peeled the stickers off of the watch and noticed a few chips on the top and bottom of the watch. Doesn't look normal to me.Such a turn off. Thoughts?
