Winding the JLC Master Ultra Thin Moon
Hi all,This is my first post around here. I recently acquired a Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Moon, which is an automatic. I know most automatics have overwinding clutches to protect them, but I wanted to confirm that this watch does indeed have a mechanism to prevent overwinding. The manual simply says "the crown will not lock when the watch is fully wound." I'm just being extra cautious!Also, does anyone know how many turns of the crown fully wind the watch?Thanks!ottobonn

What a day what a day
I don't see enough threads about the things that people DO with their watches other than look at them. There's an occasional mention of wearing one to work, but rarely do we see them in the wild having fun.I used my Blue JDM Riseman to let me know that my friend and I completed the Everest Challenge - Ski/Ride the height of Mt. Everest in one day. At a bigger mountain, it's not that much of an accomplishment but at our home mountain with it's measly 1400 feet of vertical it's tough and takes most of the day. Vintage Omega crosshair dial question...
Having a discussion with another collector about vintage Omega Seamaster or Constellation crosshair dials. He insists that in the true Omega original dials, the crosshair line did not pierce the logo and connect at the 12 marker. He says the company didn't want anything to interfere with the logo. I think the opposite, having seen many many Omega crosshair dials with the line extending to the 12....and only one where the vertical inexplicably stops short of the Omega logo. who's right?
