Cartier 2319 wrist watches news:
I've noticed very little activity for the winder forum lately. Is everyone just bored with their winders, or not using them much, or just satisfied with what they have? I find winders darn right interesting and enjoy watching them work. I have three single winders (Orbita, Wolf, and Steinhausen) and may purchase a Orbita Voyager as a fourth. My Orbita Sparta Telsa winder (with its rocking motion) is cool, but doesn't fully wind my watches that need only clockwise movement (Tags). It does great for my Baume & Mercier Hampton. How can we generate more interest here?Bruce
"One Hand", is a mariner's way of saying help...I've been asked by 2 separate people to assist in their new watch purchase and thought they should see the list of watch co.'s and their ultimate parent co. (not that I would limit them to these brands) and I remember seeing a link to a website here on the forum that listed this but can't find it now Help...
What city I am in RIGHT now, I will send a very nice hard bound Breitling book on the history of Breitling, complete with gold gilded pages.Ready? GO!
Since there are differences between them, notably the ears, rounded on the outside for the 5712, straight or turned slightly inside for the 3712, and also a very small 7 hour marker on the 3712 and none on the 5712, plus a different case design, I wanted to know what was your preference, if not to take into account the exclusivity of the 3712, I think that just upon looks I prefer a little the 5712, the rounded ears give it IMO a better harmony, on pics it's quite noticeable, this is the 3712:2700326f.jpg3054780c.jpgAnd here is the 5712:2929429.jpg2987856b.jpg2987856c.jpg
