Corum 947.933.04 wrist watches news:
Hey gang, I'm strongly considering a Hamilton Khaki X-Wind (steel case, yellow/cream-ish looking dial), and I have a couple of questions. First of all, I'm looking for a good recomendation on where to buy this watch. For some reason, there just doesn't seem to be anywhere around town (mall or otherwise) that carries Hamilton. I've seen a couple of good prices on Overstock and on the bay, but even those "power sellers" on the bay, can you really trust those auctions? Unless, of course, anyone has any stellar recomendations from someone they've done business with before, that would instill more confidence in me.The second question is, how are the straps on these X-Winds for those folks like myself with bigger wrists? The majority of my collection consists of watches on a steel bracelet, and even when purchasing Rolex, I've always had to add a link. Needless to say, I'm stupid when it comes to straps. Those of you with stately wrists like myself, I'm curious how good of a fit the s
I noticed this auction yesterday and looking at the picture it is clearly a Rolex replica on the seller has decided to edit the photo and blank out the name. I felt the seller was trying to bypass the rules about selling fakes and replicas so I put a complaint in to eBay stating my reasons. 24 hours later and the watch is still up for auction, so do eBay not care about copyright as long as the seller edits the photo or was I wrong to complain ?eBay.ie: Gents submariner gmt automatic watch vgc great lume (item 270679786691 end time 16-Dec-10 17:27:18 GMT)
Hi allJust wondering if anyone happens to know the weight of the SS and ceramic divers vs. the forged carbon?Thank you
I received a call from my AD last week to say my 5711/1A was available to collect. I’ve only been on the waiting list for 6 months although I’ve bought from them before. I collected the watch today I’m pleased with the look of the watch. It really looks smart with a long sleeved shirt or worn with a suit. The dial isn’t actually white although it photographs white. It’s more of a silvery, metallic off-white.I passed up the opportunity to buy one of these 2 years ago. Now they’re ¡ê6500 more expensive. Hindsight eh?My only quibble is the clasp. I think it could have been more elegant. I understand that Patek wanted an invisible mechanism to integrate seamlessly with the bracelet but I much prefer the clasp on my Aquanauts. That being said, today I’ve accomplished my grail watch leaving me which one more watch on my radar for the foreseeable future. (Patek Philippe 5120G-001)
I saw a guy online who had a watch ¡°collection¡± his ¡°collection¡± consisted of 2 Rolex watches. A 14270 and a 16570. Something about that pairing just made a lot of sense. I admired the simplicity.
