Aloha New member here. I've been reading your posts for a few months, I finally decided to become a member. I have a datejust II, that I bought for thanksgiving last year. This is my first rolex, and I've been very happy with it. It does run -2 seconds/day slow, and I would like to have it regulated. I understand that -2 sec/day is very good for a mechanical watch, but could be better. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Being new to the world of Rolex I went into my local AD and viewed the new DateJust 41 and was blown away, I thought this is a watch for every occasion unlike the bulky but handsome Sub.I wanted to add my thoughts on my experience of buying the DateJust 41 and massively regretting it because thats exactly what happened. For a while I was playing with the idea of a DateJust II 41mm I saw on the grey market, brand new TT yellow gold ivory indexes and I was playing with the idea of the SS DateJust 41 with blue dial, yes I was torn between these two drastic designs. New watch dead on arrival
So I just took delivery of a pre owned GMT Master II from a listing on TRF and for the life of me I can not get it to run. I have wound it 40 clicks, worn it while walking for nearly an hour, nothing has gotten it started. I'm not sure how to proceed from here. I don't want to pay another few hundred for a service - the cost difference would be minimal between that and a new GMT. Is there something else that may be causing it to not run? Thanks.
