Dear AllFirst welcome for stopping by, this new forum. It is going to be dedicated to both men and ladies, who would like to start collecting watches, but may not be sure where to start.I want to try to take out both the mystery of watch collecting, and maybe more importantly, that it does not need to cost a fortune to start and enjoy this fantastic hobby.But I warn you that it becomes first a 'passion' then an 'obsession', but one I promise you will eagerly enjoy.My goal is to start with great vintage watches that are affordable, by vintage I mean prior to 1960, and more likely from 1915 to 1950sImagine wearing a beautuful wristwatch from 1920! Fully working, probably gold (or Silver) for under $250.That is 90 yrs old, works, looks fantastic on and has survived 2 World Wars! Wow!
