Derek Pratt, one of the world’s leading watchmakers, has passed away following a long illness. Derek was a watchmaker’s watchmaker and a true scientist of horology. He was often cited as among the greatest living watchmakers, his name mentioned in the same breath as George Daniels, Philippe Dufour, and other modern legends. Derek is also acknowledged as an important influence by many of today’s younger horological stars. Derek was born in Orpington, Kent, in England in 1938. After much internal debate I picked up a 41.5mm AT. So far I love it. It wears bigger than the 41mm DateJust which is fine as I have an 8 wrist. The dial can look silver and milky white depending on the light. Not a great photo, but here ya go. More photos later.

Hi Folks,As some of you I traded my 116610ln for a Tudor 79180 + cash 2 weeks ago. I had it checked buy the watchmaker of Bucherer Z¨¹rich which is the biggest Rolex AD in Switzerland. Running within cosc and waterproof. But they could only teste it until 5 ATM locally. So my question is, since it's a plexi, would you go swimming with it in a lake?Envoy¨¦ de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk
