- Love the watch, had it for about two years now and no troubles until I fell and broke the band when it hit a rock. New band is about $100.00.

Celebrating A Decade Of Big BangTen years ago in 2004, Hublot first released the Big Bang: a timepiece that would forever change the brand and would help put then owner (now Chairman) Jean-Claude Biver on the minds of the general public as well as arguably make him the most important person in the modern watch industry. Under Jean-Claude Biver, the design philosophy at Hublot has been "fusion," or rather the combination of a range of materials in their ever expanding catalog of watches.Over the years, Hublot has produced timepieces that have featured an array of rare or unique materials not often seen in watch making, such as tungsten or magnesium, and developed their own materials and alloys such as King Gold and Magic Gold. The pursuit of new and unique materials for horology is really the search for emotion and exclusivity. As one of the ultimate lifestyle brands, Hublot wanted to do something special and very difficult for the 10th anniversary of the Big Bang.Uranium As An Exclusiv

Hi,I have recently purchased a manual winding watch (Frederique Constant FC-915), it should have 48hr power reseve. I am not sure if I wind it correctly as it is my first experience. Everyday, I wind its crown about 20 turns because I feel some hard resistance. However, it stopped running after 18hs. Since then, I have wound its 30x (though I feel hard resistance), and reset the time, but it still stops after 18hs running. Why hard resistance at the crown appears too soon? Please advice me if I should wind it more, say, 40x, without overwinding it.Also, if you have an instruction for this watch or a similar handwound one, please send me.Thank you all.
Well, I just have to ask! :)With the new 44s all sharing black ceramic bezels, the limited editions of the 42s leaning towards black ceramic, I reckon the logical question is: what are they going to do when they want to go back with the brushed finish, or when a dial will work well with that awesome silver that AP achieves on the SS.Duh, SS will be used, yes, but how will they keep the MUCH IMPROVED practicality?Rubberclads making a come back in 44? Sure, why not. I am game. But again, that black look, so what will happen to the following aesthetically unmistakable AP silver?Surely, it cannot be limited to, let alone DIE with SS. Can it?Silver ceramic. Is it possible? :)
Hi everyoneI have read posts about how the red ceramic bezel starts off as blue then undergoes a temperature treatment to turn red etc. a few weeks back I was dragged to a kids birthday party - take a look at what the bezel looks like under a UV / black light. Very strange, and cool. Check out the before and after - apologies if the pic posting fails and first go. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
