I've been wondering why on a lot of watches they display 10:10 as the time. Is it a position for the hands that helps display the watch face the best? Just curious.
i always kinda thought that omega was the 'came in second' guy in the watch race being such a rolex devotee.....but i was with a few guys and we were discussing watches and my pals dad (80) mentions his omega he's had on his wrist for 30 yrs.....so he takes it off and hands it to me....and i get it.....i get the omega thing....solid, conservative but clean designs....but after learning a bit about movements, i actually think omega is busting a move for a move into competition with rolex with the twin axial thing....and actually as a lifelong competitive swimmer myself, omega is all over the place with references to sports timing....so heres my thinking....i do think we're gonna have another financial 'adjustment' and i think future adjustments actually are just markers for new 'financial normals'.....and i think that at the price, omega just may be a better place to put $ than rolex in a challenged financial market....im diversified re watches (rolex, omega and a tissot as a surf watch
