Franck Muller 7008 CC CF wrist watches news:
There were 2 watches that I wanted ending tonight on the swamp. I got SO excited cleaning-up a new arrival that I forgot to have a look and to re-bid. LOLOOPS, I lost on BOTH auctions. BUMMER.so I guess I need to share what got me excited!!!!I won this Plain Consul dial the other daybut it was pretty rough.
Yep, the chronograph repeater came back today! The video was shot at just past 5:45 - 5 single tone chimes signify the hours, and 3 dual tone chimes signify each quarter past the hour.hence the name quarter repeater.Oh, and the dial does look pretty good too.
Going to see how I like my Constellation. I Removed the SS band and added a gray croc strap that I ordered a few days ago.
Hello. Surprised I didn't see another thread about this.I finally snagged a watch that I've been after for awhile - the AP ROO Panda. Mine came on the black croc hornback which unfortunately is too short for me (only measured 105/70 which is crazy).Other than the croc hornback and bracelet, I wanted to see what others were wearing. Both OEM and aftermarket suggestions are welcome. Thanks!
Well it’s been 7 years since this 116610LV went from David SW’s hands to my wrist and it hasn’t stopped once. I did the math on this one last night. The balance wheel has oscillated 1,716,960,000 times since then. These little pieces of mechanical genius are quite amazing. On the other hand my rotor has become quite noisy as of late. I figure since it is keeping almost perfect time that it doesn’t need a full service just yet so I ordered some PML and decided to take matters into my own hands. After all, I did play around with the 3135 a bit at Lititz when I was there for the day on my interview. upon close inspection of the rotor shaft I found no wear or jewel dust so I popped it in my ultrasonic. I didn’t have any oil to re oil so I used a piece of thread with 90% alcohol to run through the rotor shaft jewel on the winding mechanism. Upon inspection it looked A OK. After blowing the parts off with mildly compressed air I added a needle tips worth of PML
