This 45mm chronograph is equipped with Maurice Lacroix’s manufacture movement, caliber ML 106-7. The hand-wound 16.5 ligne (36.6mm) movement is developed, manufactured and assembled in-house. Offering classic column wheel design, 1/5 second accuracy and a 60 minute counter, the movement also featured a unique, patent-pending system that reduces the effects of impacts during the interlocking and releasing phases. Chronograph seconds are indicated by a central hand with the 60-minute chronograph counter at 3 o¡¯clock and small seconds at 9 o’clock. The movement is adjusted in 5 positions and runs in 22 jewels at 18,000 vph (2.5 Hz) with a power reserve of 42 hours. The bridges are hand-decorated. The steel case combines polished sunray, circular, and vertical-brushed surfaces. The domed sapphire crystal is anti-reflective coated on both sides. An Omega project...
I just picked up this Omega Automatic Seamaster Cosmic, reference number ST 166.0026. Took it straight to my watchmaker for clean and overhaul, but I will have to find a new dial. Dial foot problem was transferred to the dial side, causing damage at 11-12 position. Not looking for perfection, just not this kind of blemish.

State of the IWC collection
My current collection consists of two IWC watches, both obtained in 2007. The St Ex Chrono was the first on March 16 and at Christmas morning I got the Portuguese Automatic.I love them both and for now, I feel no urgent need to add another watch. When did you first start down the Patek road?
Hi folks,Although I've always had a fine appreciation for watches it's really been the last 5-6 years that I've been serious about collecting and learning about this crazy addiction. Actually I can tell you the exact date, 8/10/2011, the day I joined TRF Ive been all over the globe when it comes to brands and it's been a very fun journey discovering what I like and what I dislike. For all the various brands that I've owned I've always clung to Rolex as my core. But recently I've felt that I have acquired all that I need from Rolex and I've been really drawn to what Patek has to offer. I was lucky enough to acquire a 5711 white dial from my AD recently. I hate to say this but I just wasn't able to bond with it. I didn't even post an incoming because I knew it wasn't a keeper. Since then I've tried on a 5712 and a 5146 and I really loved everything about those watches. I'm pretty sure my next watch will be the 5712 or maybe the 5712r (or both) and I'd like to acquire the 5146r later on.

I was informed that Panerai was on the way to produce a special edition model exclusively for their boutique in Istanbul. Last week, I had a call from them telling me the watch is there and waiting for me. I went there in a flash. My first impression is quite positive. The watch is very attractive and much better than I expected. Generally speaking, Panerai has a great workmanship on ceramic. They have many beautiful models in the collection.
